The Health & Safety Coordinator (H&S C.) is responsible for assisting Dr. Clean Inc. with consistent compliancy of its Health & Safety Program. The H&S C. will work in conjunction with Dr. Clean’s personnel to teach, review and enforce these policies.

Duties/physical requirements

Health & Safety's are expected to perform the duties listed below. These include but are not limited to;

  • Perform Site Inspections and complete appropriate documentation/reporting requirements.
  • Verifying training documents, providing training, scheduling orientation training with client.
  • Purchase and Track Personnel Protective Equipment Inventory
  • Assist with Organization and Delivering Site Specific Training
  • Review Work Orders and Driver Log Deficiencies and Accuracy
  • Audit Training Records
  • Sit on Joint Health & Safety Committee - Prep and Host Quarterly Meetings
  • Coordinate and Organize all Communication with 3rd Party H&S Consultants.
  • Write & Deliver and Maintain Safety Talks as set forth in the H&S Program
  • Perform Incident Reports and track/document their findings.
  • Liaise with clients on safety related matters. Attend daily/weekly safety meetings with clients when required.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Head Office

Qualifications

  • This opportunity is proudly supported by NOHFC
  • University or College graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university.
  • The Candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study.
  • Strong investigation, reporting and analysis skills.
  • Flexibility to work out of town on projects as required.
  • Must be available to work various shifts including day shift, night shift, and split shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook) and ability to learn new software and programs.
  • Valid G class driver’s license (with a clean abstract).

Highlights

  • 5 Consecutive - 10 hour shifts. (5AM - 3PM) or (12Noon - 10PM)
  • Evenings & Weekends on a Rotation Basis.
